This May 2025, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Ellwood Mesa Sperling Preserve being saved by the community and becoming public, protected open space. If you made it to the event, you may have gotten a chance to pick up a copy of The Skunk Corner's new, bilingual scavenger hunt of 9 interesting things you can observe at Ellwood! If not, or if you want to go back and explore the open space at a different time of day or time of year, you can print a copy of the scavenger hunt here.
